Little farm update: We are exited to say we had some nice cherry blossoms this year! We also had a pretty good bloom on our plums and apples. The bad news for all the peach, nectarine and apricot lovers out there is that we won’t have any this year. On 6 acres of peaches we didn’t have a single blossom due to the cold snap in January. Last night the temperature dipped to -4 and we tried to safe the Apricot blossoms. We turned on the irrigation to raise the temperature a little and blew with the sprayer to circulate the cold air away.
We really hope it works!
